AI : The sidekick

 A while ago , i didn't know to respond to a text my crush had send me and that's when using Gemini ( Google AI) came to my mind. I was honestly so impressed seeing the amount of replies it came up with. In this era of AI , where people debate about the pro’s and con’s of using AI and how it is going to replace humans and apparently take over the world in a couple of years , i would like to think differently. I use AI on a daily basis to help me out with even the smallest of the tasks and it is very convenient. From helping me with my college works to preparing the weekly grocery list based on the budget i give to helping me text back people , i find this very useful. Now don't think i use AI to respond to texts , no that's not how it works. I know how to articulate my words and thoughts but i see how i can do it better or in a more constructive way. Would you find it funny or just think I'm lazy if i told you that the title for this was suggested to me by Gemini? I mean after all I'm writing about AI , so why not let it choose how the title should be!! 


I'm very well aware about how AI can easily be seen as the bad guy and I’m not here to be the advocate for AI either. The thought of wanting to write something like this came to me when one of my college professors asked who all support using AI and out of all the 40+  who were present in the class , I was the only one to raise my hand. I know for a fact that everyone sitting there overworks AI for every single assignment or project but yet didn’t find it useful or as a supportive assistant? Is this what you call being a hypocrite? Admitting to use AI is not something to be ashamed about. We are humans , after all we require help and we need assistance. So I think it’s better to take it from an artificial intelligence because it’s less embarrassing and nobody will know about it other than you and whatever AI that you use. You can ask any dumb question or basically type in anything that comes to your mind and ask way , your AI will never judge you but if you ask someone you know in real life they might. 


I worked in a corporate office as a part of my internship and I could see even from the top level to the lower level employees ones were using the help of AI for the most basic tasks. It made me think how much helpful it can be at the same time AI can make you dumber because you never use your brain. You just type in whatever and you get an output, without even cross checking you straight away use it. 
Well, I'm going to wrap up my thoughts on AI here because I believe it's getting a bit long . I wonder how many of you will see this paragraph and think it’s long so let me just put it in some AI and get a shorter version. I hope you all be kinder to AI’s or even think about how helpful it can be in your daily lives. Will i be saved when robotics and artificial intelligence take over the world because i wrote this? Guess we’ll have to wait and see

MOTHER & DAUGHTER

  Growing up as a daughter, I had a complex relationship with my mother. I used to never understand why she was being so strict and we would have fights over the silliest of the reasons. I used to hate her as a teenager. It was hard being the kind of daughter my mother wanted me to be because we had completely different values and outlook on life. She would constantly correct me and nag me about the way I did things. I would always think how when I grow up and have a daughter, I would never raise her the way my mom raised me and would be a better mother than her.
